Hamlets current state of mind in the book is that he is trying to figure out what does the fathers ghost trying to tell him. He says that its somehow a sign, "It's my fate calling me... The ghost is still waving me over." He now believes that there was something suspicious on how his father died.

1. At that time Hamlet is speaking to himself, and it seems that he is the only one on stage and in that time he is talking about his feelings and emotions
2. Hamlet gives the reader some thought that his uncle is being in his life. Hamlet really is "Out of my weakness and my melancholy, as he is very potent with such spirits, abuses me to damn me." He really wants revenge on Hamlet for the reason being that his Uncle is substituting his dad in his life

Re: October 25th, 2010 Hamlet Questions
1. The two pages basically are about Marcellus sensing that something is going to happen, while he is discussing with Horation and Bernardo. They mostly talk about some rumor that Hamelt killed the king of Norway (Fortinbras). Then the Fortinbras appears and Horatio tries to talk to the ghost, and stop him.
